Concrete Para Bowl: White

The Para Bowl is handmade in Charleston, South Carolina by Port Living Company from their patented Ultra High Performance Concrete — a material over six times stronger than conventional concrete, achieved through carefully graded aggregates and extremely low water ratios rather than the polymers and acrylics found in lesser mixes. The result is denser, harder, and more durable than hybrid concrete blends, while remaining suitable for food-grade applications when sealed with an FDA approved sealer and finished with a vegetable-based buffing compound.

The parabolic form gives the bowl its name and its presence — a curved silhouette set on a distinctive footing that creates the illusion of floating above the surface it rests on. Backed with cork for tabletop protection.

Wipe clean with a damp cloth. As with all handmade goods, slight variations in finish and patina are to be expected and develop further with use. Not intended for wet or liquid food items.
