The Ananday Cork Yoga Mat is made from two plant-based materials — renewable cork and natural tree rubber — and nothing else. No plastic, no harsh chemicals, no toxins. Fully biodegradable, including the packaging.
The cork surface does something most mats can't: it gets more grippy with sweat. Cork releases a natural grip-enhancing substance when wet, making a towel unnecessary even in the most intense heated practice. It is also naturally antimicrobial, staying fresh between uses without chemical treatment. The tree rubber base provides cushioning that keeps joints comfortable through long sessions.
Cork is one of the most responsibly harvested materials available. No trees are cut down — the bark is stripped by hand every nine years and regenerates itself. A harvested cork tree absorbs up to five times more CO2 than one left uncultivated, and cork oak forests support some of the world's most biodiverse ecosystems. Every mat purchased plants one tree.

Care: Roll loosely after use — do not fold or crease. Spray with a natural mat cleaner and allow to dry for a deeper clean. Clean weekly, more frequently with heated practice. Avoid direct sunlight and extended water exposure to prolong the mat's life. Surface cracking may occur with extensive use — this is purely cosmetic and does not affect performance.
